In an extraordinary collaboration aimed at supporting the hospitality sector, a diverse group of hospitality professionals, including Canned Wine Group’s very own KAM for pubs and bars Sarah Loutfi, came together to record a Christmas charity single for hospitality at London’s iconic Abbey Road studios.
The initiative not only showcases the unwavering spirit of the hospitality community but also aims to raise vital funds and awareness for an industry that has faced unprecedented challenges in recent years.
The hospitality sector, known for its vibrancy, creativity, and crucial role in the economy, has been significantly impacted in recent times. Venues and hospitality companies have struggled amidst covid lockdowns, restrictions, tax hikes and increased regulatory burden, leading to venue and business closures, loss of jobs and a decline in local economies.
The single is aimed at supporting the sector through these difficult times via one of its main charities, Hospitality Action. Representatives from across industry came together to sing, make mistakes (!), make new friends and bring good cheer for the festive season.
Canned Wine Group’s KAM for pubs bars and restaurants Sarah Loutfi commented:
“It was an intense day but a great experience! Abbey Road Studios is such a legendary venue, it was a real privilege to record there. But most of all it was an honour to spend the day with other hospitality professionals keen to contribute to a very worthy cause in a fun and exciting way.”
“Always Open for Christmas” by the Hospitality Choir, was released in December 2025.
