Canned Wine Co. Partners with Storyhouse to deliver Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre Wine Garden

Canned Wine Co. is proud to announce its support for the launch of the 2025 Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre season, one of the UK’s most beloved outdoor cultural events. The season kicked off with an atmospheric launch night performance of Pride & Prejudice, transforming Chester’s historic park into a buzzing hub of food, drink, and live entertainment under the stars.
Canned Wine Co.’s presence at the festival reflects its commitment to enhancing cultural experiences through exceptional wine. “We’re thrilled to be part of such a dynamic and creative event,” said Elena Whitehead, Trade Marketing Manager at Canned Wine Group. “The Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre is a celebration of storytelling, community, and summer in the city – and the perfect backdrop for us to show everyone that you can get a great glass of wine at the theatre, and any live show, with Canned Wine Co.”
The 2025 season, presented by Storyhouse, features a rich programme of performances including a return of Pride and Prejudice and a brand-new adaptation of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, alongside family-friendly experiences like Alice in Wonderland walkabout theatre.
Canned Wine Co.’s wine garden can be visited throughout the summer season, bringing flavour, sustainability, and a touch of elegance to Chester’s cultural calendar. Visitors to the park can enjoy Canned Wine Co.’s award-winning range – from zesty Viognier to bold Old Vine Garnacha – while relaxing in the picturesque surroundings of one of the UK’s finest open-air theatres.
This partnership comes off the back of a successful listing of the wines in Storyhouse’s main hub, where visitors can enjoy the Canned Wine Co. range at the theatre, cinema, or whilst reading a book from their library. “The wines work really well in Storyhouse’s venue and unique operations”, said Abi Chell, Key Account Manager (Entertainment) at Canned Wine Group. “They’re easy to serve, they’re flexible, and the quality of the wines matches the experience that Storyhouse offers.“
