Canned Wine Co. is delighted to announce that we were awarded a bronze medal by the IWSC (International Wine & Spirits Competition) for our No.2 Viognier 2020!
This ripe and velvety French white wine was judged by a panel of industry professionals, including the Master of Wine John Hoskins. They awarded our Viognier 85 points, noting “A minty, floral nose with viscous honey and caramel candy on the palate”.
About the IWSC:
The IWSC was founded over 50 years ago in 1969 by wine chemist Anton Massel under the original name Club Oenologique to reward excellence in wine and spirits production. Today, the competition attracts entries from over 90 countries ranging from still and sparkling wines to gins, whiskeys, liqueurs, low alcohol options and more.
