Could literature, cinema, and wine collide perfectly?
Last Friday, to celebrate the premiere of Wuthering Heights, we hosted an intimate screening in collaboration with Picturehouse’s Little Theatre, transforming the evening into a one-night-only Copper Crew event.
The Little Theatre in Bath has stocked The Copper Crew since 2024, the first in the Picturehouse portfolio. Since launching we have activated with Galentine’s themed nights, bundle deals and sales training. For this premier, we wanted to try something new!
With this screening, each guest had the perfect pairing of a wine & popcorn combo included, ready for the evening to commence. With a nearly sold out night, the cinema was eagerly exciting to see how the evening unfolded.
To create a truly special experience, local actor Emily Malloy delivered a pre-show reading of one of the book’s most iconic passages to set the scene ready for the opening night. This set the night perfectly and created something different than the usual at the cinema, it made the night that little bit more memorable.
With every guest enjoying a can of the crew in hand, it was a wonderfully special night
